Teaching, Exhibition Development/Design, Spring 2016
Spark-Fuel-Ignite is a partnership between the University of the Arts, local cultural institutions, and three Philadelphia-area high schools. Working together with fellow graduate student Melissa Kennedy, we created a curriculum and co-taught a project-based course for 20 talented, diverse STEAM learners. The goal of the course was to nurture and refine the students' design thinking skills via the research, development, design, and fabrication of a pop-up exhibition about how we experience the idea of "home" through our five senses.
The exhibition has been featured at the Philadelphia Science Festival will soon be installed at Asian Arts Initiative, a local cultural institution and art gallery.
